The end of the 70s, and everything starts from the love for black music.
Black is the sound and the vibration that he spins on the decks Black is the
music that influenced him that he explored and deepened during his first 20
years of career. Maurizio Gubellini has experienced the change, the evolution of
the house music played around the Italian house clubs and instead of moving away
from it, he actually became one of the first Italian djs that supported the
music evolution. Today his sound is definitely house music, ranging from electro
house , minimal and progressive. His dj sets are eclectic, always different and
they cannot last less than 2 hours. When he gets on the decks Maurizio has just
one guide: his personal taste through which he always manages to fill up the
dance floors. Being on of the most appreciated and respected djs in Italy,
Maurizio Gubellini, played in almost every club on the Italian territory, over
250 clubs like: Pascia’ (Riccione), Echoes/Liz (Riccione), Pineta (Milano
Marittima), Matis (Bologna), Kinki (Bologna), Villa delle Rose (Riccione),
Zangola e Des Alpes (Madonna di Campiglio), Mantra (porto Rotondo), Luna (San
Teodoro SS), Sali e Tabacchi (Reggio Emilia), Barfly & Circus(Brescia),
Bambu (Mantova), Abacab (Terni), Gradisca (Perugia), Dehor & Fura
(Desenzano), Maneggio (Novara), Old Fashion & Fidelio (Milano), Rock City e
Hennessy (Torino), Area & Ciarlis (Cortina d’Ampezzo), Le Mirage (Arezzo),
Art Cafe’, Eto’, Piper (Roma), La Mela (Napoli), Costes (Firenze), La Fabbrica
(Pescara), Seven Apple (Forte dei Marmi), Odissea (Ancona)…. Gube is one of
the few Italian djs that was invited to play 30 April 2005 at the Slava Club in
Moscow a four hours set in the temple of the ‘house music’ in which just few Top
djs/producers managed to perform. Gube (thats the way his friends call him)
defines himself a very determined and stubborn person and his motto is ‘Where
there is a will there is a way’. After 20 years of a bright career, he is still
on the run. He started producing as well, and today he is the owner and A&R
of a respected italian independent record label SPECTRA. In the summer 2005, he
breaks in the European market with a big tune ‘Moscow Trip’ becoming an Ibiza
and Mykonos anthem. His productions and remixes are always on the move like you

Funkshion Club for a party dedicated at his labels SPECTRA- TAKUMA & FRAGILE
In the summer 2006 will play around all Italy big country and also in MYKONOS @
SPACE club 19 & 20 July and in FORMENTERA @ XUENO 1 August Maurizio
Gubellini has been also the testimonial for prestigious brands such as Fashion
Tv Italia e Svarowski Italia and now is also testimonial A-Style
