L’abbattimento del muro… è diventato un simbolo. Roger Waters e una ventina di superospiti nel 1990 suoneranno The Wall nella nuova Berlino riunita… Ora il nuovo tributo, 26 anni dopo l’uscita dell’ellepi.

Geoff Downes, tastierista degli Yes, lo aveva annunciato tra le pieghe dell’intervista italiana a Marco Leodori e Paolo Carnelli (pubblicata dall’ultimo numero del prog-magazine “Wonderous Stories”): il 27 settembre uscirà per la Cleopatra Records il doppio album tributo BACK AGAINST THE WALL.
Il progetto - spiega Paolo Carnelli, editor di Wonderous Stories - è curato dall’ex Yes Billy Sherwood e vede la partecipazione di tantissime firme importanti del prog, davvero un cast “stellare”: Alan White, Tony Kaye, Rick Wakeman, Steve Howe, Chris Squire (Yes), Keith Emerson (ELP), John Wetton (King Crimson, Asia), Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Gary Green (Gentle Giant), Geoff Downes (Asia), Mike Porcaro, Steve Porcaro, Steve Lukather (Toto), Tony Levin, Vinnie Colaiuta…
