Ma quanto è indaffarato Carlos...

Settimana piena di impegni per il chitarrista, tra tournèe e iniziative varie

Lo rivela il sito ufficiale dei Santana, che ci comunica i nuovi impegni di Carlos Santana.

In primis, Carlos e Deborah Santana saranno a New York per la presentazione della nuova linea di scarpe "Carlos Santana Shoe Collection". E' importante ricordare che i proventi della vendita di calzature andranno alla Milagro Foundation, ente dei coniugi Santana che opera e favore dell'infanzia.

Di seguito concertone al Madison Square Garden e presentazione e poi presentazione del nuovo libro di Deborah "Space between the stars".

Santana Plans Busy Week in New York
6/9/2005, It'll be a busy week for Carlos Santana when he hits New York to perform next week. Next Wednesday afternoon, Carlos and his wife Deborah will hit the historic Macy's store in Manhattan for a special reception and fashion show featuring the Santanas' Carlos by Carlos Santana Shoe Collection. A portion of the proceeds from every pair of shoes sold goes to the couple's Milagro Foundation, which donates money to children's charities around the world.

Wednesday night, Carlos and the band will play Madison Square Garden, then on Thursday he and Deborah will head to the Barnes and Noble in Lincoln Center, where Deborah will sign copies of the audiobook version of her memoir, Space Between the Stars.

The audiobook may actually interest Santana fans because Carlos and his son, Salvador, wrote the original music found on the discs, which feature three original and exclusive Santana songs as well as music by Deborah's father, the blues pioneer Saunders King.
